  • Washington Square: Washington Square is a lush and lovely greenspace located behind City Hall at the corner of Meeting Street and Broad Street in the Charleston Historic District.   • Battery and White Point Gardens: Located in the heart of Charleston's historic district, this prominent landmark provides a spectacular view of Fort Sumter and Charleston Harbor, where the Ashley and Cooper rivers empty into the Atlantic Ocean.
  • Moultrie Playground: in addition to a playground for the kids, Moultrie playground featured lighted hard tennis courts, a basketball court and a ballfield. It is located next to Colonial Lake, just off Broad Street.
